On October 22nd, PPO and Fieldale Farms presented a webinar specifically for poultry processors. The webinar was presented by Tim Stork, PPO’s Product Manager; Danny Jeng, PPO’s Product Development Specialist; and Corbett Kloster, Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance at Fieldale
Tim Stork kicked off the webinar with a quick introduction to PPO’s Smart Imaging System and the core technology that sets it apart. Danny Jeng then took a look at the challenges of working with poultry products, and how PPO has adapted our system to meet those challenges. Danny continued his presentation by looking different applications of PPO’s system, and how those work for poultry processors. Corbett Kloster then shared a little bit of information about Fieldale Farms and their Springer Mountain brand, and shared why PPO was chosen for their woody breast detection application. Corbett spoke about the process of working with PPO and what he expects to see from the PPO Smart Imaging System at Fieldale.
