Doug kicked off the webinar by explaining what PPO’s Smart Imaging System is and how it is unique. He then explains how hyperspectral imaging works and how it is different from other inspection methods like multi-spectral imaging. Lastly, he shows examples of how PPO can find plastic in spinach at line speed. Lastly, Amanda walks through how Hormel is using PPO’s Smart Imaging System as part of their multi-hurdle approach and was successful at eliminating foreign materials.
